What if your child wanted to read?
Real books. Real reading. Real habits.
Reading Gym helps children in kindergarten to Grade 5 build a daily reading habit with real books, engaging activities and rewarding milestones.
First month free. Then 80% off for founding families.
Getting children to read is one thing.
Getting them to want to read is another.
- Screens and games always look more fun than a book.
- Distractions win most evenings.
- And you end up being the daily reminder — again.
How it works
Read → Learn → Log → Earn
Step 1
Read
Children pick a book from the Reading Gym list. Borrow it from the library or buy it through the Amazon link.
Step 2
Learn
After each section, children do comprehension quizzes and vocabulary activities in the app.
Step 3
Log
Children log their reading to build streaks.
Step 4
Earn
Children collect points, stickers, gem levels and rewards.
Start on day one. No book yet? Children can start with vocabulary activities or log any book they already have at home — it all counts toward their streak.
9 books per grade at launch. More added over time.
Why Reading Gym
Real books. Real reading. Real habits.
A million words before 10.
It sounds huge. The math is surprisingly simple.
One picture book a day in kindergarten and Grade 1. Then simple chapter books a month, building to full novels by Grade 4 and 5. That's a million words by 10.
It isn't about reading more. It's about reading every day.
You don't have to be the reading police.
Just their biggest cheerleader.
